The Clients Brief:
- The brief was to maintain the character of the existing cottage

The design concept was to demolish the existing extensions and pare back to the original cottage form, then create satellite building elements around the cottage with flat roof links maintaining the integrity of the existing cottage form whilst providing for the required additional accommodation and opening up the aspect from the cottage and extensions to the south facing garden and creating a connection with the outdoor space.
